DDH or Darren “Doorstep” Hall (as some call him) hails from Manchester.
The KLF, 808 State and The Prodigy were my first real influences. In The Academy was where I saw The Prodigy for the first (of many) times. That got me started on the hardcore and rave scene.
I started going clubbing and some friends had decks and after rave parties. I eventually bought a cheap pair, buying mostly records from the likes of Piccadilly Records and Vinyl Exchange. As I was now taking in House and Techno in their many 90s genres through experiencing the likes of The Hacienda, Cream, Bowlers, Voodoo and Sankeys Soap so my music collection moved to that sound. Also a big love for Hed Kandi, the funky and electro house tunes of the 00s.
Expect a variety of genres set to set but quality tunes guaranteed.
